Open Access

JEN is an open access journal whereby all manuscripts are required to undergo the peer review process. Accepted peer-reviewed manuscripts are open access immediately after publication and are assigned a DOI number and can be downloaded, cited, and shared.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The article processing charge of $350 USD must be paid after a manuscript has been “accepted” following the peer review process. If a manuscript is accepted for publication, an email including a payment link will be sent to the corresponding author. Manuscripts will not be published by JEN until the APC payment is received and processed. 

Annual Unlimited APC Waiver Program

Pinnacle Science aims to offer researchers worldwide an affordable, open-access platform for peer-reviewed research. To support this mission, we provide an Annual Unlimited APC Waiver program, allowing authors from any university or institution to publish unlimited manuscripts for an annual fee of $550 USD per department. Alternatively, researchers can pay a one-time APC of $350 USD for each accepted manuscript.

Beginning January 1, 2027, Pinnacle Science will update APC pricing to support the growth and sustainability of our open access publishing model. The single manuscript APC will increase to $425 USD and the departmental Annual Unlimited APC Waiver program will increase to $700 USD. The current university-wide waiver agreements and institutional pricing will remain unchanged at this time.
